Our large item loan program allows foster families to access crucial necessities such as car seats, bikes, strollers, and more with ease. Cozy Cases

Every foster child deserves to feel a sense of belonging and ownership. Our Cozy Cases provide children with a suitcase filled with personal items they can call their own. Each case includes a book, personal care items, and comfort kits to ease their transition into a new home. We aim to help children feel secure and valued during this challenging time.

Who are we for?

Our services primarily benefit foster parents, empowering them with the resources they need to provide stable and loving homes. The children in foster care are our secondary beneficiaries, as our programs are designed to enhance their experience and sense of comfort during placements.

Foster the Family stands out as the only facility of its kind within 1.5 hours of Clear Lake, Iowa. Our focus is specifically on providing larger items for foster families, distinguishing us from typical clothing closets and ensuring we meet the unique needs of foster parents and children.

How do you access services?

We’re ready to help you out when you are. To make the most of our services, we do ask that you register. We want to be able to get to know those who we are serving!

By registering, you are also signing a Hold Harmless Agreement to ensure the a safe and supportive environment for everyone. Any contact information on the registration is used solely for that, registration. We do not sell or provide this information to others.

To access our services, visit us at 1200 Hwy 18 W in Clear Lake, Iowa (just West of Fareway in front of the Clear Lake EFree Church). You will use your code given after you register to access our facility at any hour you need – that’s right, no need to set up an appointment!
